Pemberton Flying Club

About Us

Our club has its roots going back to the 1970s with local residents wishing to have an airport. Land was cleared and with the help of private members' funding and time, a gravel strip was created. Over the years, the airport and the club have evolved.

The Pemberton Flying Club's mission is:

  1. To foster safe and responsible flying activities.
  2. To promote the establishment of a facility for safe conduct of general aviation.
  3. To facilitate the construction of a general aviation hangar at Pemberton Airport.
  4. To liaise with local governments, organizations, and the media by:

  • Representing members in matters relating to planning, development and uses of Pemberton Airport
  • Promoting and increasing awareness of general aviation in our local community
  • Working with the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association to promote and market Pemberton Airport as a destination for general aviation

Our Club is looking for members. We welcome pilots, aircraft owners, and aviation enthusiasts that share our goals. Our members join for their private, non-commercial interests in general aviation.
